Chula University Strengthens Thailand-Romania Academic and Industrial Cooperation
On April 11, 2025, a delegation from Romania, led by H.E. Mrs. Daniela-Brindusa Bazavan, the Ambassador of Romania, visited the Petroleum and Petrochemical College at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. The delegation included Prof. Dr. Pramoch Rangsunvigit, Dean of the college, alongside representatives from AppliCAD PLC, such as Mr. Peerapon Jindasiriroj, Honorary Consul of Romania, and Mr. Wiruch Pansiriroj, an Academic Counselor.
Purpose of the Visit
The visit aimed to explore potential collaboration in education and research between Romania and Thailand. Key topics of discussion included the development of student exchange programs, research partnerships, and the application of advanced technology in the petroleum and petrochemical industries. Both parties exchanged insights on enhancing the capabilities of academic personnel and fostering joint innovation initiatives.
Outcomes of the Meeting
This meeting is viewed as an important step toward strengthening academic and industrial relationships between Thailand and Romania, setting the stage for future collaborative efforts within international academic networks.
