Thammasat University extends its congratulations to Chanischa Poolpherm, a fourth-year student in the Bachelor of Arts Program in Service Innovation (BSI), International Program, and Jinpisuth Archaphet, a fourth-year student in the Digital Transformation and Innovation program (dX) at the College of Innovation, for winning first prize along with a cash award of 100,000 baht in the GHB Open Innovation Hackathon 2024 with their project ‘GHB AI-Home’.
GHB AI-Home
Chanischa and her team developed “GHB AI-Home” to promote financial equality and homeownership in Thailand. This platform uses AI and Machine Learning to help users assess their credit scores, verify documents, and evaluate home prices, making informed financial decisions and avoiding potential debt. The team has recognized the opportunity for further development and thus considered a comprehensive service platform, akin to a one-stop service for home-related matters. This will assist users in finding and hiring home repair services, while simultaneously creating jobs and generating sustainable income for the Thai people.
Sharing Experiences
Chanischa and Jinpisuth shared their experience developing “GHB AI-Home,” emphasizing the importance of understanding GH Bank’s business model and the needs of their target audience. They aimed to create a platform that promotes equality in homeownership by addressing financial disparities and providing valuable resources for buyers, sellers, and those seeking job opportunities in the housing market. Through extensive research and interviews, they ensured their platform effectively addresses the pain points of various user groups.
