VJU2026: Enrolling in the Digital Era, Beginning a Modern Learning Journey at Hoa Lac

Nearly 700 freshmen at Vietnam Japan University (VJU), Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), have begun their university journey at the Hoa Lac campus, experiencing a streamlined digital enrolment process and a modern learning environment.

As part of VJU2026, new students completed their registration through a technology-enabled process featuring automated student allocation and smart queue management. Each student required only around three minutes for the in-person procedures, making enrolment faster and more convenient.

Beyond the digital experience, freshmen were introduced to an integrated university environment that brings together lecture halls, laboratories, dormitories, dining facilities and community spaces. Modern classrooms and laboratories, supported in part through cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), provide students with opportunities to connect academic learning with practical training, research and innovation.

For many freshmen, the new campus also marks the beginning of independent living. Dormitory facilities offer opportunities to build friendships, develop self-management skills and become part of the wider student community.

The arrival of the VJU2026 cohort adds new energy to Hoa Lac, which is developing into an integrated university environment for learning, research, innovation and student life. For the new students, their journey begins with technology-enabled enrolment and continues through academic, research and community experiences.
