Ateneo Law School Clinches First Title at the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Championship

Ateneo de Manila University School of Law has achieved a historic milestone by winning its first championship at the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition. Competing against more than 150 teams, Ateneo delivered an outstanding performance during the international rounds held in Gulfport, Florida, marking its return to the competition’s top stage since reaching the finals in 2007.

The winning team—Dana Mica Torregosa, John Matthew A. Tuazon, Dorothy Tuazon, and Ralf Michael Borja—was guided by a dedicated group of coaches and supporters. Tuazon also earned distinction as Best Oralist in the preliminary rounds, outperforming over 70 competitors.

This achievement follows a series of strong international results, including a Runner-Up finish at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Together, these accomplishments highlight Ateneo Law’s continued excellence in global advocacy and its enduring mooting tradition.
