MMU Team Wins 8 Medals at 2025 Varsity Swimming Championship – Multimedia University

The Multimedia University (MMU) contingent participated in the Varsity Swimming Championship 2025, held from December 6 to 7 at the Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) Aquatic Arena in Kuala Lumpur. The team secured a total of eight medals, including three gold, four silver, and one bronze, culminating in an overall fourth-place finish in the championship.

• Anselm Lee Jun Xian from the Faculty of Business (FOB) in the Men’s 1500m Freestyle
• Christy Teh Xing Ti from the Faculty of Law (FOL) in the Women’s 100m Backstroke and 50m Backstroke

Silver Medal Winners

• Christy Teh Xing Ti, Faculty of Law (FOL) – Women’s 100m Butterfly
• Wong Yi Thung from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) – Women’s 50m Freestyle
• Anselm Lee Jun Xian, Faculty of Business (FOB) – Men’s 200m Butterfly and 400m Freestyle

Bronze Medal Winner

• Wong Yi Thung, Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) – Women’s 50m Backstroke
