City University Honors Doctor of Business Administration Graduates Celebrating APEL.Q Achievements

Several public sector leaders have recently completed the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program through the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning for Qualifications (APEL.Q) pathway at City University Malaysia. Their achievements were recognized during a Presentation of Letters of Completion held on October 21, 2025, at the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) Bukit Kiara.

Ceremony Details

The ceremony took place as part of the Public Service Department’s monthly assembly, officiated by YBhg. Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan bin Haji Abdul Aziz, the Director General of Public Service, in conjunction with Datuk Dr. Mohd Zabri bin Yusoff, Director of INTAN. The event marked the successful conclusion of the DBA program for participants who completed their studies through the APEL.Q pathway.

Notable Graduates

Notable graduates who received their Letters of Completion included:

  • YBhg. Datuk Dr. Awang Alik bin Jeman, Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN)
  • YBhg. Datuk Dr. Wira M. Noor Azman bin Taib, Secretary General of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government
  • Dr. Ahmad Zafwan Sulaiman, Head of the Post-Service Training Unit (ULPP), INTAN Putrajaya
  • Dr. Diyana binti Hassim, Head of Corporate Communication at the Public Service Department (JPA)
  • Dr. Azmi bin Sadon, Director of the Corporate Management Division at the Fire and Rescue Department Malaysia

New Enrollment

Additionally, Puan Syuhaida binti Abdul Wahab Zen, the Director of the Public Sector Reform Division (JPA), received her official offer letter to enroll in the DBA APEL.Q program, joining the next cohort of candidates.
