MFU Hosts New International Students Orientation for Smooth Academic Transition

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) held an orientation for new international students on August 15, 2025, at the Pradoo Daeng 1, General Sampao Choosri Building (E4). The event aimed to assist over 350 full-time and exchange students from 24 countries in their academic and social integration.
Opening Ceremony
During the opening ceremony, Assistant Professor Dr. Matchima Naradisorn, President of MFU, welcomed the attendees and highlighted the array of support available from the university community, including faculty, staff, and fellow students. Dr. Naradisorn encouraged participants to embrace both the opportunities and challenges associated with their new environment.
Orientation Program Highlights
The orientation program offered a range of information designed to equip new students for their academic journeys. Presentations covered various topics, including MFU’s teaching system, student responsibilities, immigration regulations, available student services, health insurance, and tips for avoiding scams. Additionally, interactive activities and performances from student clubs were included to promote engagement between new and returning students.
