University of Queensland Delegation Visits Beijing Normal University for Collaborative Research

A delegation from the University of Queensland recently visited Beijing Normal University (BNU) from July 13 to 14. The group was led by Rongyu Li, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, and included Alan Rowan, an academician of the Australian Academy of Sciences and a faculty member at the University of Queensland.

Meeting and Discussions

The visit included a meeting on July 14, hosted by Chen Xing, Vice President of BNU. The discussions centered on the progress made since the University of Queensland’s previous visit in April and examined opportunities for collaborative research in the fields of aging health and educational partnerships.

Tour and Presentation

The delegation also toured BNU’s Brain Imaging Center. During the visit, Alan Rowan presented a lecture titled “Institute of Aging Health: The Cooperation Model between China and the University of Queensland” at the Faculty of Psychology.
