Jesselton University College Hosts ECE Student Innovation Exhibition to Celebrate Creativity and Impactful Ideas

Kota Kinabalu, 16 April 2025 – Jesselton University College (JUC) proudly hosted the ECE Student Innovation Exhibition 2025, a dynamic and inspiring event that brought together student visionaries to showcase their creativity, innovation, and real-world problem-solving skills. Organized under the Faculty of Early Childhood Education (ECE), the exhibition served as a platform to highlight student-driven projects that span across disciplines—ranging from science and technology to environmental awareness, education, design, and community engagement.

This annual exhibition is part of JUC’s broader mission to foster holistic education by promoting hands-on learning and encouraging students to explore solutions to contemporary challenges. More than 30 projects were exhibited this year, each reflecting a unique blend of academic knowledge, creativity, and a desire to make a difference.

Some standout projects included smart tools for inclusive early childhood education, mobile applications promoting health and safety awareness among children, and eco-friendly learning resources crafted from recycled materials. These innovations not only impressed visitors and faculty but also caught the attention of local industry partners and NGO representatives who attended the event.

Students had the opportunity to present their projects to panels of invited guests, gaining valuable feedback and sharpening their communication skills. The exhibition also served as a launchpad for potential collaborations between students and external organizations, further bridging the gap between academia and industry.

In addition to its educational value, the exhibition also aimed to instill a strong sense of environmental and social responsibility among students.
