KKU Engages in Academic Collaboration with Vietnam’s EIU to Strengthen Education Ties

Khon Kaen University (KKU) conducted a meeting on December 23, 2025, focused on academic collaboration with Eastern International University (EIU) from Vietnam. The session was led by KKU President Associate Professor Charnchai Panthongviriyakul and Vice President for International Affairs Associate Professor Nawarat Waraasawapati. The delegation from EIU, which included Chairman Mr. Nguyễn Tấn Lợi and President Dr. Ngô Minh Đức, aimed to explore potential educational partnerships.
Meeting Participation
The meeting included participation from KKU deans and executives from various faculties, such as the College of Local Administration, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, College of Computing, and Faculty of Nursing. The discussions were aimed at strengthening the existing educational partnership while seeking new collaboration opportunities.

Key topics addressed during the discussions included ongoing programs for student exchange, faculty mobility, recruitment of postgraduate students, and joint development initiatives. Both KKU and EIU expressed a commitment to establishing a robust long-term partnership in higher education.
