Chung-Ang University’s College of Sport Sciences Signs Partnership Agreement with Gonzaga University in the USA

Chung-Ang University’s College of Physical Education has entered into a partnership agreement with Gonzaga University’s School of Education, officially signed on December 8, 2025. This agreement is designed to promote global engagement through enhanced collaborations with international educational institutions.

Signing Ceremony

The signing ceremony included participation from Dean Jae-woo Kim of Chung-Ang University and Dean Yolanda Gallardo of Gonzaga University, with Program Director Andrew Kim also present. Gonzaga University, established in 1887 and located in Spokane, Washington, is a private Catholic Jesuit institution renowned for its academic programs and successful athletic teams, particularly the Gonzaga Bulldogs basketball team.

Collaborative Efforts

The agreement facilitates various collaborative efforts, including international joint research projects, academic exchanges, co-teaching programs, joint seminars, and exchange opportunities for athletic teams. Following the signing, Dean Jae-woo Kim indicated that initial initiatives would be implemented, with plans for broader cooperation in the future.

Andrew Kim, who is an alumnus of Chung-Ang University, highlighted the significance of returning to his former institution for this event and reiterated his dedication to promoting communication between the administrations of both universities.
