Chung-Ang University’s Law School Achieves 3rd Highest National Pass Rate in 14th Bar Examination

Chung-Ang University’s Law School has achieved the third highest national pass rate in the 14th Bar Examination, as reported by the Ministry of Justice on April 24. Of the 3,336 candidates who took the examination, 1,744 passed, resulting in an overall pass rate of 52.28%.

Pass Rate Rankings

The law school at Chung-Ang University recorded a pass rate of 73.2%, ranking behind Seoul National University, which had a pass rate of 86.7%, and Korea University at 75.5%. This represents an improvement compared to the previous year’s performance and is significantly higher than the national average. Among first-time test-takers from the 14th cohort, who graduated in February 2025, the pass rate reached 91.67%.

The Dean of the Law School, Lee Jeong-hoon, highlighted the institution’s dedication to fostering a supportive educational environment aimed at enhancing students’ academic success. The Dean noted that the school strives to build students’ confidence through ongoing communication and personalized guidance, preparing them thoroughly for their examinations.
