Undergraduate and Graduate School Entrance Ceremony for AY2025 at University of Tsukuba

On April 5, 2025, the University of Tsukuba held entrance ceremonies for its undergraduate and graduate students, as well as for students enrolled in the Acupuncture and Physical Therapy Teacher Training Schools, at the University Hall Auditorium. This year’s incoming cohort includes 2,230 undergraduate students, nine students from the Acupuncture and Physical Therapy Teacher Training School, and 2,568 graduate students.
Ceremony Highlights
The ceremony included an address by President NAGATA Kyosuke, who extended welcome remarks to the incoming students. Following the president’s speech, members of the board of directors were introduced. The event concluded with a performance by the University of Tsukuba Orchestra and Mixed Chorus, which played the university’s student song, “Hitachino-no,” to mark the beginning of the students’ academic journey.
