Alumni Homecoming 2025: Celebrating Connections at UOW Malaysia’s Penang Campus
The Alumni Homecoming 2025 event was held on November 21, 2025, at the UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College, located in George Town. The event brought together over 200 alumni, faculty, and students to celebrate the heritage of KDU and mark its transition to UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College.
Global Participation
Alumni traveled from several countries, including Oman, Germany, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, and China, to attend the reunion. The program included a networking session, allowing participants to reconnect with former classmates, lecturers, and friends. The evening began with a welcome address from Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Chong Beng Keok.
Nostalgic Celebrations
The event featured nostalgic video presentations that captured significant moments from the attendees’ student experiences, which highlighted the institution’s evolution in its various forms. The videos included themes such as the beginnings of their memories at Kolej Damansara Utama, experiences at KDU College, and memorable moments at KDU Penang University College.
Alumni Sharing Sessions
An important aspect of the evening was the Alumni Sharing Sessions, during which several alumni spoke about their personal and professional journeys, emphasizing the impact of their education at KDU on their lives. The event concluded with the presentation of a video titled “A New Chapter Begins – UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College,” which reflected on the past and future of the institution.

As a token of appreciation for their ongoing involvement and support, attendees received complimentary gifts featuring UOW Malaysia KDU branding. The Alumni Homecoming 2025 exemplified the strong community spirit within UOW Malaysia KDU and indicated a legacy that continues to motivate future generations.
