Thai Mind Awards 2026: Celebrating Best Practices for Mental Health in Organizations at Chulalongkorn University

The Thai Mind Awards 2026 recently celebrated best practices in fostering mentally healthy work environments. This event was organized by the Faculty of Psychology at Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with the Institute for Mental Health Sustainability and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, and aimed to honor organizations that excel in promoting mental well-being among their employees.

The awards ceremony was held on March 12, 2026, at Chulalongkorn University’s Office of Academic Resources. During the event, Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, and Dr. Pongtep Wongwatcharapaiboon, Manager of ThaiHealth, highlighted the essential need for robust support systems for mental health in workplace settings. Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattasuda Taephant, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, discussed collaborative efforts focused on advancing sustainable mental well-being for employees.

A panel discussion featured representatives from previously recognized organizations, who offered insights into their initiatives aimed at enhancing workplace mental health. Organizations such as Western Digital and Pet Friends Animal Hospital presented their strategies and shared success stories.

Purpose of the Thai Mind Awards

The Thai Mind Awards not only aim to recognize exemplary organizations but also encourage a collaborative atmosphere for knowledge sharing. The initiative aspires to motivate organizations to prioritize mental health initiatives, thereby improving the quality of life for workers in Thailand.

Award Recipients in 2026

In 2026, nine organizations received awards: four were recognized for Excellence in the Thai Mind Awards, while five obtained Honorable Mention Awards for specific contributions to mental well-being. Award recipients included AIA Thailand, B. Grimm Power Public Company Limited, Kiatnakin Phatra Financial Group, and Park Hyatt Bangkok.
