Universitas Diponegoro Initiates 2026 with Inauguration of 18 Professors to Bolster Community-Focused Innovations

Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) recently inaugurated 18 new professors from various disciplines during an open session held from January 26 to January 30, 2026, at the Sudarto SH Building on its Tembalang Campus in Semarang. This event is considered a significant milestone for the university as it begins the new year, enhancing its academic capacity and contribution to fields such as science, research, and technology that address societal needs.

Optimism from the Rector

Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, the Rector of UNDIP, expressed optimism regarding the appointments, noting that the new professors are expected to enhance the university’s ability to produce research with direct benefits for society.
