Thammasat and Bangkok Bank Showcase Student Innovation Through TU Biz Lab Pitching Event

Thammasat University and Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited concluded the TU Biz Lab summer internship programme with a pitching event held at the Rangsit Center for students enrolled in the TU287: Learning Through Practice 3 course. During the event, six student teams presented business plans and marketing strategies designed to strengthen community enterprises, drawing on field research and guidance from Bangkok Bank mentors and industry experts.

University leaders, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dumrong Adulyaritkul, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orapan Yolrabil, Vice Rector for Strategic Collaboration and Business Value Creation, joined Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Ms. Pochanee Kongkalai to review the students’ projects. The initiatives focused on branding, marketing and business development strategies aimed at enhancing the value and long-term competitiveness of community products.

The programme reflects Thammasat’s commitment to experiential learning by allowing students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world business challenges. Participants also strengthened essential workplace skills such as teamwork, analytical thinking and problem-solving while working closely with industry professionals and local communities.

Earlier, university executives visited Bangkok Bank’s headquarters to exchange knowledge and support students’ project preparation. Through the TU Biz Lab partnership, Thammasat and Bangkok Bank continue to bridge academic learning with industry experience, equipping students with practical skills and fostering sustainable community development.
