XJTLU Launches CIE Belt and Road Division in Singapore

Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University has expanded its global footprint with the launch of a new overseas division in Singapore, strengthening links between academia and international industry. Established at the Singapore Institute of Management on 13 April 2026, the centre marks the second overseas hub of XJTLU’s College of Industry-Entrepreneurs (CIE) Belt and Road Division, following its first in Budapest.
The new division aims to support Chinese enterprises entering Southeast Asia by offering integrated services such as market research, investment consulting, talent development, and technology incubation. It also serves as a platform for industry-university collaboration and cross-border innovation.
During the launch ceremony, both institutions highlighted the partnership as a model of integrated cooperation. The initiative is expected to enhance regional engagement across countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, while reinforcing XJTLU’s role in advancing global education, research, and industry connectivity.
