RMIT Vietnam Hosts Teacher Talks 2025 Gathering 277 Educators Nationwide for Student-Centered Classroom Innovation

RMIT Vietnam recently conducted its annual Teacher Talks series, which attracted 277 educators from across the country this year, marking a record attendance. The theme for the event was “Putting learners first: Creating student-centred classrooms.” The sessions were held simultaneously at three campuses in Saigon South, Hanoi, and Danang, surpassing the previous attendance record of 221 participants achieved in 2019.

The event, organized by the School of English and University Pathways (SEUP), set new standards for professional development among English language teachers in Vietnam and the wider Southeast Asia region. Attendees represented a diverse array of educational institutions, including schools, universities, and language centers.

This year’s discussions focused on several key topics, including student-centred pedagogy, active learning, and the role of artificial intelligence in education.
