PSU Golden Lions Prepare for North Luzon’s Major Sports and Cultural Festival 2025

Pangasinan State University (PSU) is preparing to participate in the 2025 Mid-year Sports and Socio-cultural Festival, organized by the Association of State Colleges and Universities – Solid North (ASCU-SN). The delegation, known as the Golden Lions, consists of approximately 225 employee-athletes and is headed by university President Dr. Elbert M. Galas. Participants are expected to showcase sportsmanship and camaraderie during the various competitions that will take place at Benguet State University, the designated host institution.

Support from Local Government

Support for the athletes has been received from the provincial government of Pangasinan, particularly from Governor Ramon Mon-mon Guico III, who has facilitated transportation through provincial buses. The festival is scheduled to run from July 14 to July 18, 2025.
