Thammasat Implements ‘No Gift Policy 2025’ to Promote Ethical and Organizational Conduct

Thammasat implements No Gift Policy of not accepting gifts and presents of any kind.
Thammasat University organized the program“ No Gift Policy 2025” issued by the Rector, to promote a culture of transparency and good governance within the organization. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Supasawad Chardchawarn, the Rector of Thammasat University, with executive staff, personnel, students of Thammasat University, and members of the ITA TU NETWORK, who participated in the event, at the Theaters Room, 100-Year Puey Learning Park, Thammasat University, Rangsit Center.
Assistant Professor Dr. Supachai Srisuchat, Vice Rector for Human Resource Management and Chair of the Committee for Ethics and Transparency at Thammasat University, stated, “The Rector’s initiative to implement a No Gift Policy for the year 2025 emphasizes the enhancement of ethical conduct in the workplace. It also aims to ensure that personnel strictly adhere to the No Gift Policy, improving the university’s ITA evaluation results for the fiscal year 2025 and elevating the performance in terms of ethics and transparency in the operations of Thammasat University.”
Professor Dr. Supasawad Chardchawarn, the Rector of Thammasat University, stated, “The evaluation of morality and transparency in the operations of government agencies aims to foster improvements in the ethical standards and transparency of organizations. Thammasat University is committed to being a model organization of integrity, and I commend the Anti-Corruption Center of Thammasat University and the Sanya Dhammasakti Institute for Democracy for promoting this activity. This initiative requires all executives and officials within Thammasat University to refrain from accepting or giving any assets, gifts, or benefits from their duties during, before, or after their responsibilities that could lead to corruption and misconduct. This project is part of the ONE TU initiative, uniting as one for a moral and transparent organization, to drive the university towards becoming a transparent and accountable institution,” Professor Dr. Supasawad remarked.
