Thammasat and WashU explore exchanges

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs at Thammasat University, and the OIA Coordinator for the Americas met with Ms. Sara Stratton, Director of Olin Global Programs at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) in the U.S., during a visit to Thammasat’s Tha Prachan campus.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance collaboration under the ISEP program, particularly in student exchange programs, to promote cross-cultural experience and cultural exchanges.

The Vice Rector noted that since the first semester of 2024 the Office of International Affairs (OIA) at Thammasat has organized activities for inter-students to embrace their new environment during their time at Thammasat. These activities have included learning basic Thai classes, cultural tours to the Grand Palace and the National Museum in Bangkok. As well, the OIA organized a tour to visit the Thammasat Business School.

While on campus, Ms. Stratton thoroughly enjoyed the event, Thais Like Kai Jeow – a real taste of “Thainess”, co-organized by the OIA and the Pridi Banomyong International College (PBIC).
