No-Code AI Education Program “Sungkyun Hands-On AI” Completes Successfully at SKKU

The no-code AI education program, “Sungkyun Hands-On AI: Creating My Own AI Agentic Workflow for Learning Coaching,” organized by the Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation at Sungkyunkwan University, concluded successfully on January 28. This program, conducted in partnership with Upstage, aimed to empower participants to develop personalized AI workflows without requiring prior coding knowledge.
Focus of the Initiative
The initiative focused on equipping students with practical skills for creating AI tools instead of merely using existing ones. During the two-week program, participants evaluated their study methods and devised AI workflows intended to improve their educational experiences. The program’s conclusion featured the “Naesonso Festival,” at which 27 teams showcased their AI projects and received peer feedback.
Resources and Engagement
Throughout the duration of the program, participants engaged with advanced resources including Upstage’s large language model “Solar Pro,” document parsing technology, and the no-code automation tool “n8n” to create customized learning aids. The event format facilitated interactive demonstrations, encouraging students to share feedback and insights on each other’s work.
Festival Highlights
At the festival, the Grand Prize was awarded to Heo Yunseo from the Department of Global Biomedical Engineering, who developed an AI agent designed to enhance critical thinking by providing targeted hints during problem-solving. Other notable projects included “AlgoMemory,” which enhances review sessions based on cognitive principles, and “ALPT_Toeic_Master,” aimed at improving TOEIC study outcomes.
Participant Feedback
Participant feedback indicated a positive reception of the program, with an average satisfaction score of 4.72 out of 5. Comments from attendees emphasized the importance of applying theoretical AI concepts to their personal study practices. The Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation has indicated a commitment to ongoing innovation in student learning through AI and plans to develop additional collaborative opportunities in the future.
