MMU Students Shine at National INSPIRE Bootcamp: A Showcase of Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Four students from Multimedia University (MMU) participated in the Innovative Studentpreneurs for Impactful & Resilient Enterprises (INSPIRE) Bootcamp, which took place from January 16 to 18, 2026. The students included Tharunnesh A/L Mahalinga Moorthy, Raamesh A/L Manirajan, and Theeneshwarran A/L Thiagarajan from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics, as well as Thanusha A/P Sunda Resan from the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Engineering.

Bootcamp Overview

The bootcamp was organized by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in conjunction with its Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and SMEs (UKM-CESMED). The event aimed to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of student participants through innovation in various aspects such as product development, business operations, and marketing strategies. The selection of participants was conducted by the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC), which chose students based on their creativity and potential for national-level competition.

Program Activities

During the three-day program, participants engaged in intensive training sessions, hands-on mentoring, and collaborative learning. This format provided valuable insights into business resilience, innovation, and strategic thinking. The experience was designed to give attendees exposure to the entrepreneurial landscape, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and sustain their ventures in a competitive environment.
