Indonesian Consulate’s Visit to Yala Rajabhat University: Enhancing Educational Cooperation and Language Learning
On December 19, 2025, a delegation from the Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia in Songkhla Province, led by Mr. Mochammad Rizki Safary, visited Yala Rajabhat University (YRU) to discuss potential educational cooperation. The meeting took place at the Language Competency and Skills Development Laboratory within the university’s Information Technology Building.
Delegation Welcome
The delegation was welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sirichai Namburi, President of YRU, along with other university officials and staff members. Discussions centered on establishing academic partnerships with higher education institutions in Indonesia, with a particular focus on promoting the study and use of the Indonesian language in Thailand’s southern border provinces.
Significance of the Visit
This visit is considered an important initiative for enhancing international collaboration, with the aim of improving educational quality, fostering cross-cultural understanding, and developing sustainable relations between Thailand and Indonesia.
