Celebrating Young Achievers: Isaac and Jacob Gew Break Records in Malaysia Book of Records

The University of Southampton Malaysia (UoSM) has acknowledged the achievements of Isaac Gew and Jacob Gew, two brothers who have made significant contributions in mathematics and engineering, leading to their inclusion in the Malaysia Book of Records. At ages 13 and 12, they have set notable national records that resonate with students across the country.
Isaac Gew’s Achievements
Isaac Gew, at 13, is recognized as the youngest student to enroll in a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds the record for achieving an A in A-Level Mathematics at the age of 10, making him the youngest individual to do so.
Jacob Gew’s Milestones
Following closely in Isaac’s path, Jacob Gew, who is 12, has made his own mark by being recognized as the youngest person to attain an A in IGCSE Mathematics, a record he set at age 8. In addition, he has received an offer for admission into a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, highlighting a significant milestone in his academic career.
