WCC ATC Co-Hosts Research Summit in Thailand: Advancing Sustainable Development and Global Academic Collaboration

WCC Aeronautical & Technological College (WCC ATC) co-hosted the 12th National and International Conference on July 31, 2025, at Huachiew Chalermprakiet University (HCU) in Thailand. The event aimed to strengthen international collaboration and promote sustainable education, featuring participation from 18 higher education institutions.
WCC ATC’s Continued Involvement
This conference marked WCC ATC’s third consecutive involvement, focusing on academic exchange and discussions regarding global development issues. The theme for this year’s event was “Research to Serve Society.” It attracted academic leaders, researchers, and institutional partners from various Asian nations, where discussions centered on the role of education and innovation in facilitating societal change.
Keynote Address by Mr. Joseph Solomon Horn
A keynote address was delivered by Mr. Joseph Solomon Horn, Managing Director of Strategy613. His presentation focused on “China–Thailand: The Next 50 Years of Economic Cooperation,” highlighting the vital role of education in fostering future-ready regional collaborations.
Delegation from WCC ATC
Dr. Roger Martinez Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs at WCC ATC, led a delegation consisting of deans and faculty members. The delegation participated in multiple aspects of the conference, including a pre-conference tree-planting ceremony that symbolized a commitment to sustainability. Presentations also addressed the integration of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into educational curricula and community initiatives.
