MMU Strengthens Partnership with Paragon Vest for Enhanced Student Sports Development
Multimedia University (MMU) has officially strengthened its partnership with Paragon Vest Sdn. Bhd. through the launch of its football team jersey and the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on April 14, 2025. The ceremony took place at Tropicana Gardens Mall in Damansara, with key representatives such as Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and Mr. Vincent Lai Wai Onn, General Manager of Paragon Vest, in attendance.
Partnership Overview
This partnership, which originally commenced in 2022, focuses on a sports sponsorship initiative aimed at supporting the MMU football team as it competes in Division 1 and Division 3 of Liga Bolasepak IPT for 2025. Notably, MMU is recognized as one of the select private institutions actively participating in top-tier university football in Malaysia. Under the new agreement, Paragon Vest will supply the team with official home and away kits, travel gear, and coaching attire.
Commitment to Development
The sponsorship represents a significant commitment to the development of MMU’s student-athletes, encouraging excellence both in sports and academic pursuits. Since its inception in 2007, the MMU football team has gained a reputation for its competitiveness, often performing strongly against more established public universities.
