“Thai Ceramic Society International Exchange 2025: A Fusion of Science and Art in Creative Works”
Chulalongkorn University is hosting an international ceramic exhibition titled “The Thai Ceramic Society International Exchange 2025.” Organized by the Office of Arts and Culture in collaboration with the Department of Materials Science and the Department of Industrial Design, the exhibition commenced on January 16, 2025, at the Art and Culture Exhibition Hall.
About the Exhibition
The exhibition features 101 ceramic works by artists from Thailand and 17 other countries, chosen by a panel of experts. It emphasizes the interplay between artistic creativity and scientific principles, showcasing various techniques, material characteristics, and production methods. The presence of renowned international guest artists further enriches the event, fostering knowledge exchange in the ceramics field that may benefit students, professionals, and the general public.
Visitor Information
Open to the public from January 15 to February 16, 2025, the exhibition allows visitors to explore the artistry and craftsmanship involved in ceramics, along with the narratives underpinning each piece.
