Chinese Culture University Features Studies on New Media and New Communication Technology
The aim of the Center for New Media & Communication is to offer comprehensive and critical approaches to new media research, practices, and theory. The center integrates academic excellence with professional know-how in the field and is supported by the Department of Journalism, Mass Communications, Advertising, and Information Communications under the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.
The center was established to foster interdisciplinary cooperation in an attempt to develop a platform for scholars in these fields to work together in response to emerging trends. Current tasks for the Center also include applying for and implementing contracted cases from public and private sectors and planning courses for students to obtain knowledge and skills related to new media and communication.
