India Takes Steps to Ensure Quality Education

The Narendra Modi government recently completed one year of its second term. Today we take a look at the steps taken by Human Resource Development Ministry to ensure quality education in schools and colleges. An amount of 400 crore rupees had been provided for 2019-20 to create World Class Institutions in the field of education. Besides, several steps have been taken to attract bright non-resident Indians back to India to pursue their research in Indian institutions.

Government had set up Atal Innovation Mission to provide exposure to create scientific temper and cultivate the spirit of curiosity and innovation among young minds. A unique initiative for talented students Pradhan Mantri Innovative Learning Programme- DHRUV was launched to explore the talent of outshining and meritorious students, and help them achieve excellence in their specific areas.
