NUST Placement Office Successfully Concludes NYSEP 2026

The NUST Placement Office successfully concluded the NUST Young Students Engagement Program 2026 (NYSEP 2026) with a closing ceremony held at the university’s H-12 campus. The event was attended by Chairman of Moawin Foundation, Admiral (Retd.) Mohammad Asif Sandila, as Chief Guest, alongside Pro-Rector Research, Innovation & Commercialization Dr. Rizwan Riaz, industry representatives, faculty members, parents and participating students.

The two-week programme welcomed more than 170 students from across Pakistan, offering Matric/O Levels and F.Sc./A Levels students an opportunity to experience university life while exploring academic disciplines, research, innovation and entrepreneurship. Participants engaged in hands-on laboratory sessions, interactive workshops, faculty mentoring and project-based learning across several NUST schools, including SNS, SMME, SCME, NBS and SEECS.

A key highlight of this year’s programme was the introduction of the NYSEP Hackathon, organised in collaboration with AdVentures Studio. The competition brought together 16 student teams in a multi-round challenge designed to strengthen innovation, teamwork and problem-solving skills before concluding with a grand finale judged by academic and industry experts.

Through NYSEP 2026, NUST reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing future talent by providing students with early exposure to higher education, practical learning experiences and industry engagement, helping them build the knowledge, confidence and leadership skills needed for future success.
