A high-level meeting between a delegation from Uzbekistan and University of Barcelona marked a significant step toward strengthening academic collaboration.
The Uzbek delegation included Dilrabo Baxronova, Head of the Department of Spanish Applied Sciences, and Lochin Zaripov, Head of the Education Quality Control Department at Uzbekistan State World Languages University. Representing the Spanish side were Rector Joan Guàrdia Olmos, Vice-Rector Raúl Ramos Lobo, and International Relations Head Eva Martinez.
Discussions focused on expanding academic and research cooperation, enhancing mobility programs, and launching joint initiatives under Erasmus+. A memorandum of understanding was signed to formalize collaboration.
The partnership is expected to boost academic exchange, research output, curriculum modernization, and future dual degree programs, elevating Uzbekistan’s global academic presence.
