Closing Ceremony for Quality Accreditation at HCMUTE
On August 29, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) hosted a closing ceremony marking the conclusion of an official survey conducted for the quality accreditation of 17 undergraduate training programs. This event was organized in collaboration with the Center for Education Accreditation (CEA) of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM).

Stakeholders at the Ceremony
The ceremony brought together various stakeholders, including the Director of the CEA, Heads of External Evaluation Teams from multiple universities, and faculty leaders from HCMUTE associated with the evaluated programs.
Evaluation Process
Over the course of four days, assessment teams conducted on-site evaluations, which included reviewing documentation, interviewing stakeholders, discussing program specifics, and inspecting facilities to ensure that quality assurance conditions were met. At the closing session, evaluators shared their findings, emphasizing key areas such as program design and development, implementation, human resources, student support, infrastructure, and overall quality assurance processes.
Vice President’s Remarks
During the ceremony, the Vice President of HCMUTE expressed appreciation to the CEA, VNU-HCM, the evaluation teams, and the University’s Self-Assessment Council for their collaboration throughout the accreditation process. He highlighted the 19 recommendations provided by the teams and confirmed a commitment to address them while developing action plans aimed at enhancing training quality and aligning with societal needs.
Director of CEA’s Acknowledgement
Furthermore, the Director of the CEA commended HCMUTE and the evaluation teams for successfully completing the survey. She acknowledged the comprehensive support provided by the university during the process and noted the positive evaluations of all programs, indicating HCMUTE’s dedication to quality assurance and continuous improvement in educational standards.
Conclusion of the Ceremony
The ceremony concluded with the joint signing of the Official Survey Report on the Accreditation of the 17 Undergraduate Training Programs by representatives from HCMUTE, the CEA VNU-HCM, and the evaluation teams.
