Multimedia University (MMU) conducted its annual Welcoming Day on July 26, 2025, to greet new students starting their studies at the Cyberjaya and Melaka campuses. This event marked the beginning of the Week of Immersion and Networking (WIN), designed to assist students in transitioning to university life and building connections with their peers.
Opening Ceremony at Cyberjaya Campus
Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, the President of MMU, led the opening ceremony at the Cyberjaya campus, where he engaged with the incoming students. A notable segment of the event featured a presentation by Mr. Hendra Putra Wahyudi, an alumnus from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Class of 2011, who serves as the Head of Delivery Unit – Eclipse & Wealth, Digital Banking at Maybank. Mr. Wahyudi shared experiences from his career, emphasizing the importance of aiming for excellence as future leaders in the digital sector. Students at the Melaka campus participated in this presentation via live streaming.
Closing Session of WIN
The President also participated in the closing session of WIN at the Melaka campus on July 30, 2025, reaffirming his commitment to student support across both locations. The WIN Night occurred simultaneously at both campuses, marking the end of orientation week with a closing celebration attended by university leaders, aimed at fostering a sense of community among the new students.
