Expressing  inspiration through design work

Porchphiphat: The inspiration behind the work “Iconic of female warrior: the identity of a female warrior” derived from the early Rattanakosin era, the era of post-war recovery and the creation of a new city where people are self-reliant. There are many people and that multinational life is difficult, especially for women who each day seem to have to fight. Therefore, we have applied the style of wearing the scarf-cloth of Thai which reflects power, strength, and uses a single piece of cloth to hold a pleated front to show the refinement and beauty that represent the beauty that is as strong as a warrior.

The work that reflects Thai culture in a modern way

Usaneeyaporn: ‘Less but more’, the use of cloth is less but going beyond with beauty and refinement. The play of draping on the fabric is beautiful and delicate, reflecting the Thai culture of dressing to make it look attractive, not old-fashioned, but chic.

Future goals

Porchphiphat: Designers who add value to the world through Eco Design, empowering sustainability for the textile industry and the world.

Usaneeyaporn: Apply the knowledge gained in the field of textiles to career and apply the knowledge of design to run her aunt’s clothing design shop in the future.

To everyone who encourages and supports us

Porchphiphat: Porsche hopes to make everyone proud Porsche was warm and full of gratitude. Thanks to friends who give Porsche confidence every day. Thank you Teacher Dr. Thanika Hutakamon for supporting everything with all your might.

Usaneeyaporn: I’m very happy that people always send me encouragement for this competition. And thank you very much to everyone who always sends encouragement to us.
