Thammasat joins hands with Meitoku Gijuku Junior & Senior High School
Faculty of Learning Sciences and Education, Thammasat University together with Meitoku Gijuku Junior & Senior High School, Japan, having Asst. Prof. Dr. Adisorn Chantrasuk, Dean of the Faculty of Learning Sciences and Education, Thammasat University and Mr. Hiroaki Sakimoto, Headmaster of Meitoku Gijuku Junior & Senior High School, jointly signed the memorandum of understanding. The objective is to develop and build partnership to create academic cooperation and promote international activities as well as creating a network in teaching and research among the demonstration schools of Thammasat University (School under the administration of the LSEd faculty) and Meitoku Gijuku Junior & Senior High School.
Meitoku Gijuku Junior & Senior High School is a boarding high school located in Kochi Prefecture of Japan. It is a well-known school for teaching students from abroad. There is a curriculum that aims to develop students to have critical thinking, problem solving, and creative thinking by learning through real experiences and experiments, connecting and integrating knowledge into family, social and work life.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding with the leading institution in Japan reflects the commitment of the LSEd faculty in promoting the internationalization and academic excellence of the Demonstration School of Thammasat University. This is another achievement of the LSEd faculty in building cooperation with external organizations according to the policy of Thammasat University and strategy of LSEd faculty.
