Welcome to Nairobi: Building Health Partnerships at World Health Summit Regional Meeting 2026

The World Health Organization will play a major role at the World Health Summit Regional Meeting 2026 Nairobi, to be held from 27–29 April 2026 in Nairobi. For the first time, WHO is co-organising the regional meeting alongside the World Health Summit and partners including Aga Khan University, the Kenya Ministry of Health, and the Africa CDC.

The event will gather over 1,000 global health leaders, policymakers, and researchers from around 50 countries to address key priorities such as health system resilience, universal health coverage, and innovation in global health.

WHO has contributed to shaping the majority of the 80 sessions, with senior officials and regional directors participating as keynote speakers and panel chairs. The programme will also feature discussions on health financing, digital health, and global health security.

The meeting reflects a strengthened global partnership aimed at developing practical, coordinated solutions for pressing health challenges.
