Students from Thammasat University have received recognition by winning the ‘Super AI Engineer’ award for their small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) platform, ‘Nerth AI’. This award was presented during the Startup Pitching competition at the Super AI Engineer: The 5th National AI Exhibition, an event that highlights advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and celebrates significant milestones for the exhibition and the AI Association of Thailand (AIAT).
The ‘Nerth AI’ Platform
The ‘Nerth AI’ platform was designed to assist SMEs in managing back-office operations by integrating knowledge from various fields. Its primary goal is to enhance accessibility to AI technologies, particularly for SMEs that encounter difficulties with conventional data management methods and complex coding requirements.
Future Development and Goals
The development team has stated that the platform aims to evolve into a no-code/low-code Data & AI solution, which would facilitate connections to various data sources and support the creation of workflows for practical applications within organizations. The initiative is geared towards empowering Thai SMEs to utilize data and technology effectively, thereby enhancing their growth potential in an economy primarily consisting of such enterprises.
Accessibility of AI Tools
A participant in the project, Gasthone, emphasized the necessity of making AI tools accessible for professionals and entrepreneurs who may be hindered by technical challenges. ‘Nerth AI’ is equipped to support natural language interaction, allowing users to streamline data preparation and workflow creation without needing programming expertise.
