Chula and KAIST Co-Hosting the 2025 Global Digital Innovation Workshop for Advancing AI Sustainability
Chulalongkorn University and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) are set to co-host the “2025 Global Digital Innovation & Impact Hub Workshop” on November 27-28, 2025. This event will be held at the TIP Room, located on the 10th floor of the Chamchuri 10 Building, and aims to foster collaboration focused on sustainable advancements in artificial intelligence (AI).
Workshop Details
The workshop is expected to bring together university executives, academics, and experts from South Korea and Thailand. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tartat Mokkhamakkul, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy at Chulalongkorn University, will open the event, emphasizing the shared objective of leveraging AI technologies for societal benefits.
Notable Attendees
In attendance will be notable figures such as Prof. Dr. Seung Hun Han, Dean of the Graduate School of Global Digital Innovation at KAIST, along with various deans and faculty members from Chulalongkorn University. The initiative is supported by numerous organizations from both countries.
Collaborating Institutions
Thai collaborators include Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Faculty of Engineering, the CU Technology Management and Entrepreneurship Program, and the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC). Korean partners consist of organizations such as the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Institute of Information and Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation, and the Graduate School of Global Digital Innovation at KAIST.
Workshop Theme
With the theme “Sustainable AI Innovation: Leading Insights from Korea, Proven Results from Thailand,” the workshop aims to feature presentations and sessions designed to encourage knowledge exchanges. The objective is to explore collaborative opportunities for utilizing AI to improve the quality of life and stimulate economic growth.
