OSAS Orientation Program for New Students at University of Northern Philippines: Key Highlights and Insights
The Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) at the University of Northern Philippines (UNP) hosted a General Orientation Program for new students on September 15, 2022. This event, aimed at first-year students and transferees, was held at the University Gymnasium, starting at 9:30 AM.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Mariano F. Avila, the Director of OSAS, congratulated the attendees for their acceptance into the university and underscored the institution’s commitment to fostering student success. He noted that the orientation was designed to equip students with strategies for adjusting to college life, participating in campus activities, and comprehending university policies and services.

UNP President Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna emphasized the importance of the face-to-face orientation, particularly as it represented a return to in-person gatherings after pandemic-related disruptions.
