City University Malaysia Hosts Ukrainian Ambassador for Academic Collaboration

City University Malaysia recently hosted H.E. Dr. Hennadii Nadolenko, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia, along with his delegation, at its Cyberjaya campus. This visit marks the ambassador’s first official engagement with a higher education institution in Malaysia since the commencement of his tenure, signaling a potential partnership between the university and the embassy.
Collaboration History
The university has a history of collaboration with the Embassy of Ukraine, participating in various cultural and educational initiatives over the years. Notable events have included the Batik–Vyshyvanka Fashion Show during the Malaysia–Ukraine Friendship Night, a Petrykivka Art Workshop, and a Wikimedia Editathon held earlier this year to celebrate Ukraine Cultural Diplomacy Month.

During the recent discussions, representatives from both parties emphasized the importance of enhancing cultural and academic partnerships. They identified opportunities for Ukrainian students to pursue higher education in Malaysia through the diverse programs offered at City University.
