Multimedia University (MMU) and RMIT Vietnam Sign MoU for Academic Collaboration

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Multimedia University (MMU) and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) Vietnam on July 22, 2025, at the Cyberjaya campus.
Signing Ceremony
The signing ceremony included representatives from both institutions. MMU was represented by Prof. Ir. Dr. Zulfadzli Yusoff, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement & Touchpoint (MEET), and Prof. Ir. Dr. Wong Hin Yong, Vice President of Academic & Innovative Learning (AIR), along with deans and academic leaders from various faculties.
RMIT Vietnam Delegation
The delegation from RMIT Vietnam was led by Associate Professor Dr. Donna Cleveland, Dean of the School of Communication & Design. Other notable attendees included AP Dr. Lim Kok Yoong, Deputy Dean of Research & Innovation, and Dr. Renusha Athugala, Programme Manager for Games Design, among representatives from areas such as Digital Media, Games Design, and Design Studies.
Collaboration Goals
The collaboration aims to foster joint initiatives in academic exchange, research innovation, and creative media development, with a particular focus on communication, design, and digital technology. This MoU underscores MMU’s commitment to expanding its global network and enhancing educational offerings through international partnerships.
