Career Tips for Engineering Students from Talent Suites Session at Multimedia University
On May 7, 2025, a career development session titled “Planning for a Successful Career: Interview, Starting a Job, Perform and Progress in Career” took place at the Melaka campus of Multimedia University. The event was a collaborative effort between Career Connect and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET).
Session Overview
Ms. Puteri Nor Hamidar, Managing Director of Talent Suites, an employment agency offering training and consultancy services, led the session. More than 40 engineering students attended, seeking insights into effective interview techniques, workplace adaptability for new employees, and ongoing professional development strategies within their industries.
Talent Suites Graduate Programme
Ms. Puteri highlighted the Talent Suites Graduate Programme, which aims to provide final-year students with a structured approach to launching their careers. This program includes mentorship opportunities and guidance designed to support professional growth.
Recognition and Impact
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liew Kia Wai, Deputy Dean of FET, attended the session and expressed appreciation to the speaker with a token of recognition. The session was designed to equip students with the necessary tools and confidence for future career success.
