UNAIR SDGs Center Enhances Collaboration with UNJ for Sustainable Development Governance

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Center at Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) conducted an official visit to Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) on May 8, 2025. The primary aim of this visit was to enhance collaboration and facilitate knowledge exchange between the two institutions, particularly regarding the governance and implementation of SDGs within the higher education sector.
Strategic Importance of the Visit
This visit aligns with UNAIR’s broader strategy to bolster its institutional performance in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings and to cultivate partnerships focused on sustainability among universities.
Delegation Members
UNAIR’s delegation included Ahmad Safril Mubah, the Lead Expert Coordinator of the SDGs Center, and Moh. Agung Santoso, a Data Analyst at the Center. They shared best practices related to the management of SDG centers, effective data collection and reporting methods, and strategies to promote institutional synergy at UNAIR.
UNJ Representatives
Representatives from UNJ included Dr. R.A. Murti Kusuma W, the Director of Innovation, Information Systems, and Rankings; Taryudi, the Head of the Subdirectorate of Innovation and Downstreaming; and Tian Abdul Aziz, the Head of the Subdirectorate of Information Systems and Rankings.
Future Collaboration
The discussions also involved members of UNJ’s SDGs Project Task Force, who are engaged in various sustainability initiatives on campus. This event is anticipated to initiate a long-term collaboration between UNAIR and UNJ, with the objective of fostering a more inclusive, sustainable, and socially impactful model of higher education.
