Universitas Airlangga FEB Faculty Publishes Five Collaborative International Books

Several collaborative international publications have been released by the Department of Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR). This initiative addresses concerns regarding declining literacy rates in Indonesia and represents a notable contribution to the academic landscape at the beginning of the 2025 semester.
Collaborative Publications
The five publications include “Transformasi Bisnis dan Digital” (Business and Digital Transformation), which is designed to serve as the primary teaching resource for an undergraduate Management course. The book was developed through collaboration among faculty members, with Professor Dr. Gancar C. Premananto, the course coordinator, playing a significant role in its creation.
Internationalization and Educational Administration
Another significant publication is “Managing Internationalization for Study Program,” targeted at higher education administrators. This reference work was authored by several faculty members under the guidance of Professor Premananto.
Culinary Marketing Strategies
The book “Strategi FOMO dalam Pemasaran Kuliner” (FOMO Strategies in Culinary Marketing) is aimed at graduate students seeking to deepen their understanding of marketing strategies in the culinary sector. Co-authored with lecturers from Universitas Ciputra, this resource provides a theoretical framework for examining the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) phenomenon in the context of culinary marketing.
Sustainability and Development Goals
Additionally, “Managing Transformation for Sustainability” has been published in English as a scholarly reference. This work is a collaborative effort among newly appointed professors, including Professor Dr. Gancar C. Premananto, Professor Dr. Nuri Herachwati, and Professor Dr. Fitri Ismiyanti. It contributes to discussions related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Entrepreneurship Education
The publication also features a chapter entitled “Teaching Entrepreneurship in Emerging Markets,” led by Dr. Vasilios Stouraitis from Glasgow Caledonian University. This chapter explores global trends in entrepreneurship education, including a subchapter on the Holistic Entrepreneur Ecosystem, an initiative implemented within the Management Department at FEB UNAIR. This approach highlights collaboration among scholars from Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
Commitment to Knowledge Dissemination
These publications reflect the Department of Management’s ongoing commitment to research and the dissemination of knowledge. The department is also planning to launch additional academic initiatives, further reinforcing its mission to create an inclusive and impactful academic environment.
