Chulalongkorn University Hosts Delegates from Australian Academic Institutions for Academic Network Development

Chulalongkorn University recently welcomed a delegation from various Australian academic institutions, accompanied by Ms. Amelia Walsh, the Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner for Thailand and Laos. This visit, which occurred on March 13, 2025, included representatives from the Australian Embassy in Thailand and Vietnam, and took place in Room 111 of the Maha Chulalongkorn Building. University officials present included Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, the university president, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Palanee Ammaranond, the vice president.

Delegation Tour

During the visit, the delegation toured prominent locations within the university, including royal monuments dedicated to King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) and King Vajiravudh (Rama VI). The delegation also visited the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, and Chulalongkorn Business School. This meeting served as a platform to highlight innovative projects at Chulalongkorn University and aimed to promote academic cooperation with Australian institutions.
