Tsinghua University Hosts IEEE Conference on Energy Internet and System Integration 2024
The 8th IEEE Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (EI2 2024) recently took place in Shenyang, with the theme “Towards Green and Intelligent Energy Internet.” The event was co-hosted by the IEEE Power and Energy Society, the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, Shenyang University of Technology, and Tsinghua University.
Conference Focus
The conference focused on fundamental research, advanced technologies, and practical applications in the electrical energy sector. It received a significant number of submissions, totaling 1,544 papers, and drew participation from over 1,000 experts and scholars globally.
Key Sessions and Activities
Participants engaged in seven plenary sessions that explored various emerging topics in electrical energy. In addition, the conference featured more than 70 forums, several specialized workshops, special sessions, oral presentations, and poster exhibitions, fostering discussions on current trends and developments in the field of energy.
