Thammasat and CODI Join Forces to Boost Local Economy and Community Development

Thammasat University’s School of Global Studies and the Community Organizations Development Institute (CODI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate and enhance outreach efforts, field immersion, and boost the local economy at Thammasat University’s Rangsit Campus.

The signing ceremony was attended by the management team of both institutions, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Prapaporn T. Mongkhonvanit, Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jitti Mongkolchai-aranya from the School of Global Studies, Thammasat University, and Mr Krisada Somprasong, Director, and Chantana Benjasup, Assistant Director of CODI.

The agreement aims to foster closer collaboration between the two agencies, culminating in a complete cooperation guideline. The guideline will be developed after exchanging knowledge on academic innovation between CODI and the School of Global Studies. It will support cooperation in education, research, and knowledge sharing to promote innovation and sustainable community development.

The collaboration also includes support for local learning resources for education and community mobilization, field visits to aid in designing community innovations for students and communities at an international level and organizing various activities together.
