Thammasat joins hands with the NBTC in signing an MOU on access exchange to information resources and various data usage

Thammasat University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) to share information resources in supporting education and researches between Thammasat University Library and NBTC E-Library at Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus, having Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suphat Suphachalasai, Commissioner of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) as a witness.

Asst. Prof. Ekkarin Yolrabil, Director of Thammasat University Library said that from today onwards, Thammasat University and the Office of the NBTC will be in cooperation in acccessing the use of Thammasat University Library and NBTC E-Library services to provide information resources, data, and information technology in supporting researches and operations of both institutions, including building a strong collaborative network with various agencies to share and worthily use information resources to generate maximum benefit without bleaching the agreement or to be use for commercial development purposes.

Mr. Trairat Wiriyasirikul, Acting Secretary General of The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission said that the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Office of the NBTC and Thammasat University was raised from the idea of ​​the NBTC by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suphat Supachalasai who sees the importance and benefits of cooperation in accessing and using information resource services and technology information of the two institutions. Through such cooperation, the NBTC will have access to information resources and technology information, development of various innovations of Thammasat University that will support the operations of the NBTC. Meanwhile, Thammasat University can access the information resources of the Office of the NBTC to support education, promote classes, and endorse university research.
